Community Effort Improves Course
Teamwork makes the dream work at Singleton Golf Club, where dedicated volunteers and Superintendent Steve have been hard at work laying turf on the newly created lower tier of the 9th tee. This significant improvement to the course showcases the commitment of our volunteer community to maintaining and enhancing our facilities.
The project involved creating a new lower tier on the 9th tee, which required careful planning, preparation, and the physical effort of laying fresh turf. Our volunteers gave their time and energy to ensure the job was completed to a high standard, working alongside Superintendent Steve who coordinated the effort.
We’d like to extend a special thank you to Highland Turf Pty Ltd for providing a great deal on the turf. Their support is always very appreciated and helps us continue improving our course for all members and guests. Partnerships with local suppliers like Highland Turf make projects like this possible.
The newly turfed lower tier will enhance playing conditions on the 9th hole and demonstrates what can be achieved when our community comes together. Thanks again to all our volunteers for their ongoing dedication to Singleton Golf Club.
