Weekend Pennant Results
It was a busy weekend of pennant golf at Singleton Golf Club with our teams competing across multiple grades. Here’s how our players performed in their latest matches.
A Grade Shows Fighting Spirit
A Grade fought hard until the end but went down 3-2 to Cypress Lakes at Kurri. Cameron Johanson lost 1 down in a tight match, while Lee Heuston secured a solid win 2/1. Chris Redmond lost 2/1 and Brady Hay went down 5/3, but Nathan Bagnall delivered a strong performance with a 5/3 victory. Despite the loss, the team showed great determination throughout the day.
B Grade Stays Undefeated
B Grade remain undefeated this year after a good win against Denman at Maitland. John Rock won 2/1, Nathan Cameron claimed victory 4/2, and Craig Bates finished strong with a 4/3 win. Ben Isaac and Boof both lost 1 down in close matches, but the team’s overall performance keeps them at the top of the ladder.
C Grade Prepares for Final
C Grade enjoyed the week off as they prepare to play in the Final next week at Paterson versus Kurri. The team will be looking to bring their best game as they compete for the championship.
Seniors Draw at The Vintage
Our Seniors enjoyed a game at The Vintage today and came away with a 1.5-1.5 draw against Murrurundi, keeping themselves in a strong position on the ladder heading into the final rounds.
Ladies Round 2
Our Ladies play round 2 of their season tomorrow at Hunter Valley Golf Club against Branxton. Good luck to all our players!
