Pennant Results from Scone
Our Ladies Pennant team travelled to Scone yesterday to take on the high-flying team from The Vintage in what proved to be a challenging day of golf. Despite putting up a strong fight across all matches, our team went down 5 matches to 1 in tightly contested play.
The ladies showed great determination throughout the day, with every match hard-fought and competitive. While the scoreline didn’t go our way this time, the close nature of the matches demonstrates the quality and fighting spirit of our team. Playing against one of the top teams in the competition is never easy, and our ladies represented Singleton Golf Club with pride.
Looking Ahead to Next Round
There’s no time to dwell on yesterday’s result, with our team already focused on bouncing back in the next round. They’ll take on Rydges at The Vintage next Monday, 30th March, looking to return to winning ways and climb back up the ladder.
The team has shown throughout the season that they have the skill and determination to compete with anyone, and we’re confident they’ll come out firing next Monday. Good luck to all our ladies as they prepare for what promises to be another exciting round of pennant golf.
