Autumn Green Renovation Schedule
Mark your calendars – our Autumn Green renovation is scheduled for Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th March. The course will be closed during these two days to allow our team to complete essential maintenance work that keeps our greens in top condition throughout the year.
Green renovations are a crucial part of maintaining the quality playing surfaces our members enjoy. The process involves aerating the greens, removing cores, and preparing the surface for optimal growth and performance in the coming months. While it means a brief closure, the results are well worth it.
Volunteers Needed Tuesday Morning
We’re calling for volunteer help on Tuesday 10th March to assist with the removal of cores and provide general assistance during the renovation process. If you’re able to lend a hand, please meet Greenkeeper Steve at the shed at 7:30am.
All equipment will be supplied by the club, so you just need to bring work-ready attire and a good attitude. It’s a great opportunity to get involved, learn more about course maintenance, and contribute to keeping our greens in excellent shape. Plus, refreshments will be supplied after a job well done – our way of saying thanks for your time and effort.
Many hands make light work, and your help will make a real difference in getting the job done efficiently. If you have a few hours free on Tuesday morning, we’d love to see you there.
