Autumn Green Renovations – Course Closure and Volunteer Call-Out

March 16, 2026

Course Closure for Renovations

Please note that Singleton Golf Club’s course will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday for essential Autumn Green Renovations. This important maintenance work ensures our greens remain in top condition for the season ahead.

Due to staffing requirements for the renovation work, tomorrow afternoon’s Junior Clinics will also be cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we focus on improving our course facilities.

Volunteers Needed Tuesday Morning

We’re calling for volunteer help on Tuesday to assist with the removal of cores and provide general assistance during the renovation process. If you’re able to lend a hand, please meet Greenkeeper Steve at the shed from 7:30am.

All equipment will be supplied by the club, so you just need to bring work-ready attire and a good attitude. It’s a great opportunity to contribute to your club, work alongside fellow members, and see firsthand what goes into maintaining our beautiful course.

Refreshments will be supplied after a job well done, so you’ll be well looked after for your efforts. Many hands make light work, and we’d love to see as many volunteers as possible join us for this important project.

Planning Around the Closure

With the course closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, now’s the perfect time to catch up with friends in the Bistro, practise your swing at the driving range, or simply enjoy the club’s other facilities. We’ll be back open for play on Thursday with beautifully renovated greens ready for your next round.
