Course Improvement Working Bee at Singleton Golf Club

January 29, 2026

Working Bee Success

Our course is looking better than ever thanks to the dedicated volunteers who joined us for yesterday’s working bee. The team installed concrete sleepers at the entrances of our new bridges, a crucial improvement that will reduce erosion at the corners and provide golfers with a safer, more enjoyable experience on the course.

These upgrades are part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving our facilities for all members and guests. The concrete sleepers will help protect the course infrastructure while ensuring everyone can navigate the bridges with confidence.

Thank You to Our Volunteers

A massive thank you to everyone who came down to assist with this important project. We’re grateful to Alf Buckley, Gary Edwards, Wayne Orr, Geoffrey Staunton, Rick Ashton, Keith Carter, Greg Bateman, Graham Toohey, Rob Wade, Paul Burke, and Greg Mills for giving up their time to help improve our course.

A huge thank you also goes to our machinery and expertise helpers from Singleton Earthmoving and Tutt Bryant Hire Singleton. Their professional support and equipment made this project possible and ensured the work was completed to the highest standard.

Community Spirit

Working bees like this showcase the strong community spirit at Singleton Golf Club. When members come together to maintain and improve our facilities, it benefits everyone who enjoys our course. The results speak for themselves, and we couldn’t be prouder of what was achieved.

If you’d like to get involved in future working bees or club activities, keep an eye on our communications. We love seeing our members pitch in to keep our club in top condition.
