Junior Golf Clinics Return to Singleton Golf Club

February 17, 2026

Junior Clinics Back in Action

Junior Clinics at the Golfy returned this afternoon with an impressive turnout of 24 kids in attendance. It was particularly exciting to see many newbies joining us for the first time, showing strong interest in learning the game from our local community.

The session covered essential skills that every young golfer needs to know. The kids learned about proper course etiquette, including how to fix pitch marks and divots – important habits that help maintain our beautiful course for everyone to enjoy. These fundamentals set the foundation for respectful and responsible play as they develop their skills.

Skills and Competition

Beyond course care, the afternoon featured plenty of hands-on practice. Target practice helped the juniors work on accuracy and control, while long drive competitions brought out their competitive spirit and gave them a chance to really let loose with the driver. The combination of skill-building and friendly competition kept everyone engaged and having fun throughout the session.

A special thankyou goes to Les for lending a hand and passing down his knowledge of the game. His experience and patience with the kids makes these clinics even more valuable, and we’re grateful for his ongoing support of junior golf at Singleton Golf Club.

It’s wonderful to see the next generation of golfers developing their skills and passion for the game right here at the Golfy. If your kids are interested in joining future junior clinics, keep an eye out for upcoming sessions.
