Welcome to the Tuesday Kids Clinic at Singleton Golf Club, where young golf enthusiasts brave all conditions to enjoy a day of fun and learning on the course. Despite last week’s rainout, today saw an impressive turnout of 34 eager kids ready to take on the windy challenges of the day.
Supportive Community Spirit
A special shoutout to our dedicated volunteers, Mark Newman and Alf Buckley, whose unwavering support and assistance make these clinics possible. Their commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the game is truly commendable. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our legendary golf professional, Les, whose guidance and expertise enrich the experience for all participants.
Engaging Activities and Learning
At the Tuesday Kids Clinic, children not only get to practice their swings and putts but also learn valuable skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork. It’s a fantastic opportunity for youngsters to develop a passion for golf in a supportive and encouraging environment.
The clinic focuses on honing golf techniques, understanding the rules of the game, and instilling a sense of camaraderie among participants. With each session, kids not only improve their golfing abilities but also build confidence and resilience through the challenges they face on the course.
Celebrating Young Achievements
As young golfers progress in their skills and knowledge, the clinic celebrates their achievements and milestones. Whether it’s mastering a new swing or scoring a personal best, every accomplishment is recognised and applauded, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment among the participants.
The supportive atmosphere at Singleton Golf Club’s Tuesday Kids Clinic encourages young players to strive for excellence while enjoying the camaraderie of their peers and mentors. It’s a place where budding golfers can flourish and grow, both on and off the course.
