Ladies Pennant Results
Our Ladies Pennant team travelled to Rydges yesterday for a highly anticipated match against arch rivals Branxton. The team delivered another solid performance, coming away with a 3-3 draw in what was a closely contested day of competition.
Individual results saw Kaylene Wilson and Alison Wyatt both square their matches, while Jen Delaney and Fiona Almond secured wins for the team. Col Rock and Lou Morrissey fought hard but unfortunately took losses on the day. It was a true team effort with everyone contributing to the final result.
The team will enjoy a well-deserved week off before heading into round 3 on 16th March at Branxton, where they’ll face Kurri. We wish them all the best for the next round.
Ladies Opening Day Success
Today marked the Ladies Opening Day for 2026, with 18 ladies taking part in a 6x6x6 team event. The format was enjoyed by all participants and provided a fantastic start to another great golfing season at Singleton Golf Club.
Congratulations to our daily winners, Jen Delaney, Lou Morrissey and Delma Newman, who posted an impressive 81 points. Runners up were Audrey Buckley, Fiona Almond and Di Nowland with 68 points. Well played to all teams involved.
Thank you to everyone who participated and supported the opening of the season. The atmosphere was wonderful and we’re looking forward to a fantastic year of ladies golf ahead.
Course Closure Reminder
Please note that the course will be closed next Tuesday 10th March and Wednesday 11th March for renovations. Plan your golf accordingly and we’ll see you back on the course from Thursday.
