Round 5 Results
Our Ladies Pennant team travelled to The Vintage today for Round 5 of the season, facing off against Rydges in perfect weather conditions. The match resulted in a hard-fought 3-3 draw, with some entertaining and tight matches throughout the day.
Jodie Dunn, Jenny Delaney, and Kaylene Wilson all secured wins for Singleton Golf Club, while Fiona Almond, Lesley Sebbens, and Alison Wyatt fought hard in their matches. The even split reflects just how competitive the day’s play was, with both teams giving their all on the course.
Easter Break and Next Round
The ladies now enjoy a well-earned week off for the Easter break before returning to action. They’ll be hosting Round 6 at home on Monday, 13th April, giving them the advantage of playing on familiar territory.
Playing at home always brings extra support from fellow members, and it’s a great opportunity for the team to build on today’s solid performance. The draw keeps them competitive in the season standings as they head into the second half of their pennant campaign.
Well done to all six players who represented Singleton Golf Club today. The team spirit and determination shown in achieving the draw demonstrates the strength and depth of our ladies’ pennant program.
