February 23, 2026

Strong Start to Ladies Pennant Season

Our Ladies Pennant season kicked off today at Kurri, where our talented team faced Muswellbrook in what proved to be a competitive opening round. The match ended in a hard-fought 3-3 draw, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting season ahead.

Match Results

The day saw some outstanding performances from our ladies. Jen Delaney secured a win for Singleton Golf Club, demonstrating the skill and determination that makes her such a valuable team member. Louise Morrissey also came away with a victory, adding crucial points to the team’s tally.

Jodie Dunn and Larissa Britton both squared their matches, showing resilience and competitive spirit against strong opposition. While Kaylene Wilson and Fiona Almond didn’t secure wins in their matches, every player contributed to the team effort and represented the club with pride.

A draw against Muswellbrook is a solid result to open the season. It shows the depth and quality of our Ladies Pennant team and sets us up well for the matches ahead.

Next Week at Hunter Valley

The momentum continues next week as our ladies travel to Hunter Valley Golf Club to take on Branxton. It’s another opportunity to showcase the talent and teamwork that defines Singleton Golf Club’s pennant program.

Good luck to all our players for next week’s match. We’re behind you all the way and look forward to following your progress throughout the season.
