Tournament Victory in Challenging Conditions
Congratulations to Josh Stig from Kurri Golf Club who claimed victory at today’s Bower’s Heavy Haulage Men’s Singleton Open with an impressive score of 70 (+1). The win was particularly notable given the tough windy conditions that challenged players throughout the day.
Runner-up on a countback was Matt Jones, also representing Kurri Golf Club. Kurri GC had a strong showing at the tournament, with their members performing exceptionally well across the field.

The A Grade Nett Winner was Jamieson Reading, with Cameron Johanson taking the runner-up position. In B Grade, Brodey Gabb secured the Scratch Winner title, while Adam Egas was Scratch Runner-Up. The B Grade Nett Winner was Zane Knight, with Brodey Gabb also claiming the Nett Runner-Up position.
C Grade saw Kerry Wild take out the Scratch Winner award, with Greig Delaney as Scratch Runner-Up. Josh Hare was crowned C Grade Nett Winner, and Jake Smith finished as Nett Runner-Up.
