Weekend Pennant Action

It was a big weekend of pennant golf for Singleton Golf Club with mixed results across our teams. Our A Grade finished their season on a high note with a strong 3/2 victory over Denman at Scone. Lee Heuston, Nathan Bagnall, and Chris Redmond all secured wins with 4/3 results, showing excellent form to close out the season. Murray Considine and Nick Carey fought hard but came up short in their matches.

B Grade Heads to Semi Final

Our B Grade team experienced their first loss of the season, going down 4.5/0.5 to Maitland at Branxton. Kyle Bailey, Boof Landers, Craig Bates, and Ben Isaac all faced tough matches, while John Rock managed to square his game. Despite the loss, B Grade finished second in the regular season and have progressed to the semi final against Kurri next week. The venue is yet to be confirmed, but we’re confident the team will bounce back strong.

Seniors and Ladies Updates

Our Seniors team travelled to Denman to face Maitland and went down 2/1 in a close contest. Unfortunately, this result left them just 1 point short of making the final. It was a tough way to end the season, but the team should be proud of their efforts throughout the competition.

Our ladies team recommences their season tomorrow at Branxton, taking on Kurri. We’re wishing them the best of luck as they get back into action.

Well done to all our teams for their commitment and sportsmanship throughout the season. We’re looking forward to supporting B Grade in their semi final next week!
