Pennant Results Across All Grades

What a fantastic weekend of pennant golf for Singleton Golf Club! Our teams competed across multiple grades with some excellent results to celebrate.

A Grade Success

A Grade travelled to The Vintage and delivered an impressive 4-1 victory over Scone, making it two wins on the trot. Cameron Johanson won 5/4, Lee Heuston won 1 up, Nathan Bagnall won 2/1, and Chris Redmond won 4/3. Murray Considine went down 2/1 in a hard-fought match. The team’s momentum is building beautifully as we progress through the season.

B Grade Hospitality

B Grade enjoyed the BYE this weekend and showed true club spirit by hosting the other teams at home. A huge thank you to the B Grade team for being excellent hosts, preparing the course to perfection, and putting on a BBQ for everyone. Your dedication and hospitality embody what makes our club so special.

C Grade Finals Bound

C Grade faced a tough challenge against Kurri at their home course, going down 3-2 in a closely contested match. Stewart Francis and Des George both won 1 up, while Brendan Rheinberger lost 6/5, Alan Burns lost 5/4, and Jamie McWilliams lost 1 down. Despite the loss, Singleton has made it through to the C Grade Final where they’ll face Kurri again at Paterson on Sunday, 8th March. We’re backing our team to bring it home!

Seniors and Ladies Pennants

Our Seniors played at Maitland against Denman and came away with a strong 2-1 victory. Well done to the team on a great result. Ladies Pennants kicks off tomorrow at Kurri – good luck Ladies, we’re all behind you!
