Round 2 Pennant Results

Our Pennant teams were in action this week with mixed results across the grades. A Grade travelled to Denman to face Kurri in round 2, while C Grade kicked off their season at Maitland against Paterson.

A Grade at Denman

A Grade put in a solid effort against Kurri but were defeated 4-1. All matches were tight contests, with every game going past the 17th hole. Cameron Johanson secured our sole victory with a 2up win. Nathan Bagnall and Murray Considine both lost 2 down, while Chris Redmond and Will Geddes lost 2/1.

Congratulations to Will Geddes on making a solid Pennant debut for the club. Thanks also to Nick Carey and Greg Mills for their support out on the course.

C Grade Draw at Maitland

C Grade opened their season with a 2.5 all draw against Paterson at Maitland. Des George won convincingly 4/2, and Brendan Rheinberger claimed victory 2/1. Stewart Francis had a square match, while Tyler Dorn lost 1 down and Mark Henderson lost 5/4. A solid start to the season for the C Grade team.

Looking Ahead

B Grade will kick off their season next week at Rydges against Branxton. Our Seniors team had the bye this week as Singleton hosted round 2. Thank you to our Seniors for being excellent hosts.
