Round 3 at Branxton Golf Club
Our Ladies Pennant team travelled to Branxton Golf Club today for Round 3, facing off against Kurri Golf Club in what turned out to be an incredibly tight competition. With all matches going down to the last few holes, the tension was high as both teams fought for every point.
Despite a valiant effort from our players, we went down 4-2 in a closely contested match. Jodie Dunn secured a solid 2/1 victory, while Kaylene Wilson also brought home a win with her 2/1 result. Jen Delaney and Fiona Almond both fought hard to earn draws in their matches, showing great determination on the course.
Alison Wyatt narrowly lost 2/1, and Lesley Sebbens went down 1 down in another close finish. The scoreline doesn’t fully reflect just how competitive each match was, with our team giving everything right through to the final holes.
Next Week at The Vintage
The team now turns their attention to next week’s match as they make the trip up to Scone to take on The Vintage. It’s another away fixture, but our ladies will be looking to bounce back with a strong performance and get back in the winner’s circle.
Let’s go girls! The support from our club members means everything, and we know you’ll bring your best golf to Scone. Good luck to all our players for next week’s round.
