Friday Volunteers Improve Course at Singleton Golf Club

June 26, 2026

Course Improvements on the 6th Hole

Our dedicated Friday volunteers were hard at work this week making valuable improvements to the course. The crew focused their efforts on the 6th hole, planting new trees and replacing older specimens with non-invasive rooting plants that will enhance the course while protecting the integrity of the playing surface.

A big thank you to Pat at Mt Dyrring Wholesale Nursery for providing sound advice and competitive pricing on the new plants. Quality partnerships like this help us maintain and improve our course for all members and guests to enjoy.

Bridge Safety Upgrades

In addition to the landscaping work, the volunteers installed red protective cappings on the bridge barriers. This practical upgrade serves a dual purpose – protecting golf cart tyres from damage while also functioning as Red Penalty Area markers. It’s these thoughtful improvements that keep our course in top condition and ensure a smooth playing experience.

The Friday volunteer crew continues to be an invaluable part of maintaining and enhancing Singleton Golf Club. Their dedication and hard work directly contribute to the quality of our course, and we’re grateful for their ongoing commitment to making improvements that benefit the entire club community.

If you’re interested in joining our volunteer team or learning more about how you can contribute to the club, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Every helping hand makes a difference.
