5th Tee Upgrade by Volunteers at Singleton Golf Club

September 16, 2026

Volunteer Team Transforms the 5th Tee Area

Last week, our incredible team of volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into a significant course improvement project at Singleton Golf Club. The focus was the 5th tee area, where the team removed the old short tee and extended the far right tee to create more teeing options for players of all levels.

The extension also helped level out the landing area, making for a better overall experience on this hole. It’s exactly the kind of thoughtful improvement that makes a real difference to the day-to-day enjoyment of the course.

Finishing Touches Around the Bridge

While working in that part of the course, the volunteers also tidied up the entrances to the nearby bridge. Astroturf was laid to smarten up the space and reduce wear and tear on the area – a practical improvement that will help maintain the course long-term.

Projects like this are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our volunteer crew. Their commitment to keeping Singleton Golf Club in great shape is something we’re truly grateful for.

A Big Thank You to Tutt Bryant Hire Singleton

A huge thank you goes out to the team at Tutt Bryant Hire Singleton for the loan of machinery that made this project possible. Having the right tools on hand made all the difference, and we couldn’t have achieved this result without their generous support.

It’s wonderful to have local businesses in our corner as we continue to invest in improving the club for our members and visitors. We look forward to sharing more course updates as they come.
