Singleton GC Wins Round 1 of Hunter River District Mixed Pennants

Singleton Golf Club hosted Round 1 of the Hunter River District Golf Association Mixed Pennants yesterday, with warm and windy conditions providing a challenging but enjoyable day on the course. The home ground advantage proved valuable, with Singleton defeating Cypress Lakes 2-1.

Colleen and Tony Rock got the team off to a strong start, winning 1 up. Lesley Sebbens and Alf Buckley followed with an impressive 3/2 victory. Helen Castledine and Cameron Johanson went down 6/5 against their opponents, though the pair noted they had plenty of fun along the way!
