Australia Day Weekend Celebration

What a fantastic Australia Day weekend at Singleton Golf Club! We had an absolute cracker of a day on Sunday with over 60 players joining us for our special Australia Day Golf Event. The community spirit was alive and well, with so many members and guests getting into the festive mood and dressing up for the occasion.

Par 3 Challenge and Delicious Lunch

The day kicked off with a Par 3 Challenge that tested everyone’s short game skills. The competition was friendly but fierce, and it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces out on the course enjoying the beautiful weather. After working up an appetite on the greens, players were treated to a delicious burger lunch courtesy of Rita’s Bistro Singleton. There’s nothing quite like a quality burger after a round of golf on a hot summer’s day!

Live Music Under the Sun

The celebrations continued into the afternoon with live entertainment from the amazing Pat McMahon Music. Pat had everyone singing along to Australian classics, creating the perfect soundtrack for our scorching hot Aussie summer’s day. The atmosphere was electric as our community came together to celebrate everything we love about Australia Day.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made the day such a success. Whether you were competing in the Par 3 Challenge, enjoying the bistro lunch, or simply soaking up the music and sunshine, your presence made it a day to remember. Well done to all who dressed up and embraced the Australia Day spirit – you looked fantastic!
